Renault offers a Master Food Truck to the winners of the TV show "Mon Food Truck à la clé"

  • Renault is a partner of the show “Mon Food Truck à la clé” aired on the France 2 TV channel.
  •  “Mon Food Truck à la clé” is a culinary competition where two-member teams face off in different French regions aboard a Food Truck over 10 weeks. The objective is to serve 50 customers on a €150 budget.
  •  At the end of the final phases, the two winners stood out above the rest: Victor and Mathieu won a Renault Master Food Truck.
  • The keys were handed over today at the Batilly Renault factory where the New Master is built. 

 

Renault’s drive for innovation

Following the hard fought gastronomic battles and two weeks of final phases, two winners – Victor and Mathieu, from France’s Languedoc-Roussillon region – ended up a cut above the rest. Renault is proud to offer a Master Food Truck to this determined pair, full of imagination and creativity, which will allow them to begin a new business. Their plan is to serve fresh hot and cold sandwiches based solely on fish and market fresh produce, a new and innovative concept showcasing seafood in street food culture. A new adventure begins for these two entrepreneurs who today received the keys to their Master Food Truck from Renault at the firm’s Batilly factory, eastern France, where the Renault Master is manufactured.


A tasty partnership

The Renault Master Food Truck naturally found its place on the France 2 programme “Mon Food Truck à la clé”, sponsored by Renault. From March to May 2015, two new teams battled weekly during an all-new competition that saw teams from different French regions go head-to-head. Their goal was to qualify for the national final where the 10 best tandems competed for a Food Truck worth €100,000 and the promise of a lifestyle change.
