Tdi-tuning strengthens relationship with dealers abroad

  • TDI-Tuning tours its dealer network in Japan: dyno tests, custom #tuning and happy customers
  • Development and fitting of #tuning box in new Mazda 2
  • Customer Q&A sessions

Essex-based #tuning box developer TDI-Tuning’s visit to its dealer network in Japan last month was a resounding success, strengthening the relationship between the British manufacturer and its Japanese customers.

The tour included local seminars with #tdituning authorised dealers, exchanging information on the state of #tuning markets, Q&A sessions with end-users, and custom #tuning a range of vehicles, including the new Mazda 2 1.5 Skyactiv-D.

“An appreciation of our carefully developed #tuning boxes by a sophisticated market like Japan is a very welcome feedback,” said #tdituning principal Graeme King. “We take our responsibilities toward all our dealers very seriously, making sure that their product knowledge is constantly updated, and developing an appropriate range of products for the markets.”

Mazda 2,Toyota Hi-Ace, NV350, VW Golf and Mitsubishi Delica were some of the models tuned by TDI-Tuning’s personnel, alongside local engineers. Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with #tdituning boxes’ torque and power increases, very well-received; the local customers also appreciated the safety aspects of the product, which never override the factory ECU settings.

“We took advantage of our visit to Japan to work on the new supermini Mazda 2: small diesel #cars really need to prove their worth in a segment which already has very economical and strong petrol engines,” explains Graeme. “We have developed a #tuning box for the new 1.5 diesel unit, with marked improvement to its performance and fuel consumption. Feedback from Japanese owners was particularly enthusiastic.”

TDI-Tuning tunes over 4,500 different makes and models of petrol and diesel vehicles (with numbers growing weekly), and is proud of its product development and customer service strategies.
