-Real Madrid stars and selected fans from across the world launch new kits on social media-

Madrid, July 2016 – #adidas has launched the new #realmadrid home and away kits for the 2016/17 season with a global social media launch involving some of the club's biggest stars; including #garethbale, #karimbenzema, #jamesrodriguez, #marcelo, Kaylor Navas and manager #zinedinezidane.
In a first for the club, players sent new shirts to famous fans in Australia, Japan, France, Spain, Brazil, the U.S. and Mexico. This included Madrid supporters, freestylers, musicians, actors and YouTubers from across the globe.
Aimed at strengthening the connection between the club and its worldwide fan base, the change from a traditional stadium kit launch has been captured in a video which was posted on the #adidas Football YouTube channel.
The video shows the #realmadrid players boxing up the new home kit, alongside a signed message, and sending it to famous fans including: Michael Davies and Roger Bennett, hosts of Men In Blazers on NBC Sports; comedian Demis Karibidis; Brazilian YouTube stars Desimpedidos; Japanese Freestyler Takura; and Nathan Fyfe, a professional Australian Rules player.
The film finishes with Afro Trap pioneer, MHD, unboxing his kit before breaking out into a #realmadrid special of his famous track 'Afro Trap Part 3 - Champions League'.
