One month before the summer, Citroën is inviting the public to a beach #event in the centre of #paris. Citroën PlageDeLaBastille is set to turn the Place de la Bastille into a beach over the weekend of 21 and 22 May. Reflecting the brand’s Feel Good mindset, these two days will feature a wide range of activities open to all, including a surfing simulator, beach volley and French bowls, without forgetting an opportunity to test drive #emehari, the electrifying free spirit in the Citroën range. Set your sights on Arsenal port and head to Bastille beach to enjoy a festive atmosphere full of surprises. No need to wait for the summer to have fun!
In May 1968, Citroën revealed an original leisure vehicle, the Méhari. In May 2016, the brand is out to surprise once more with E-MEHARI and a beach in the city centre. Citroën is organising a two-day beach #event open to everybody at the Place de la Bastille in #paris. Over the weekend of 21 and 22 May, a Feel Good mood will be in the air with the brand’s new all-electric 4-seater convertible…

A beach in the city
The beach will be set up in the Place de la Bastille, with a host of activity spots offering a choice of free events open to everybody:
A test centre will offer visitors with a driving licence an opportunity to take the wheel of #emehari for an all-electric drive round the city!
Participants of all ages can win prizes at the mini-tournaments organised at the various activity spots.
