Small Residual Value Giant: Opel ADAM is Wertmeister 2016

This is the third consecutive victory for Opel’s small individualization champion: At yesterday’s awards ceremony in Berlin for Wertmeister 2016 (best residual value car), the #opel #adam 1.0 ecoFLEX was once again number one. With a high residual value of 56.9 percent1, the lifestyle car won the mini car category ahead of the Fiat 500 and the Toyota Aygo. This was already the 13th time the trade journal Auto Bild and the independent service provider Schwacke recognized new cars with the highest residual value.
“The #adam impresses with its design and countless individualization possibilities while boasting first-class quality and the highly efficient, new-generation three-cylinder engine. These features keep its value so stable and make it an excellent purchase decision. So the #adam is always the right choice, both emotionally and rationally,” said #opel Group Vice President Sales & Aftersales Peter Christian Küspert at the awards ceremony.
Once a year, the automotive service provider Schwacke announces the models with the lowest depreciation. The experts also give a four-year forecast at this time. Determining residual value is a complex process during which Schwacke also examines and evaluates the vehicle concept, quality, design, price, operating costs and lifecycle.
1 The residual value in percent of list price is 56.85% of the factory price. These are forecast values, meaning a residual value forecast in the future (48 months, 11,000 km per year).
