Daimler at the 2015 Interschutz show

At Interschutz Daimler can be found in Hall 27 on stand J 46, where the extensive product range of the group's Mercedes-Benz, Fuso and smart brands is presented. In addition there is an open display area directly outside the hall where a Mercedes-Benz Zetros as an airport fire tender can be admired by visitors.   A success story: The Interschutz show – The red cockerel   The first fire protection show entitled "The red cockerel" was held in Dresden as early as 1935. After various locations in the post-war years, the show now named Interschutz first moved to Hanover in 1980. In 2015 this major International exhibition for fire protection/disaster relief, rescue and safety is once again an attraction for firefighters, rescue services and disaster aid organisations all over the world. For six days Hanover will be an international meeting point for full-time and voluntary fire services, plant, company and airport fire brigade personnel, authorities, government departments, industry and associations, aid and disaster relief organisations and their youth organisations. The show is accompanied by numerous peripheral events. These include symposiums, congresses and discussion rounds on topics such as preventive fire protection, flood protection or protection of critical infrastructures. Apart from manufacturers of fire service and rescue vehicles, exhibitors include companies in the fields of medical technology, protective clothing, rescue equipment, training, communication technology etc. Numerous associations, organisations and authorities can also be found on stands in 6 halls and on the open-air site with a total area of more than 100,000 m2. All in all there are more than 1400 exhibitors, around half of them from abroad. The programme is rounded off with specialist talks and workshops. The patron for Interschutz 2015 is the Federal Minister of the Interior, Thomas de Maizière. The organiser of Interschutz is Deutsche Messe AG, supported by the association for the furtherance of German fire protection. More than 125,000 visitors are expected this year, mainly from Europe but also from Asia, Africa and America. Interschutz 2015 will take place from 8 – 13 June 2015 on the exhibition site in Hanover, daily opening hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. There are three entrances to the show, North, West 1 and West 2. The latter leads directly to Hall 27 which is predominantly occupied by the vehicle manufacturers, among them Daimler. There are large parking facilities directly by the exhibition site.
